3rd Joint EU-South Korea workshop on CCS and NANOMEMC2 Final conference

Date:

3rd of July 2019

Location:

Jaurès amphitheatre, Ecole Normale Superieure de Paris, Paris

Project background: The NanoMaterials Enhanced Membranes for Carbon Capture (NanoMEMC²) project aims to reduce the cost, energy and process limitations that make pre- and post-combustion CO2 capture non-viable in many industrial applications at present. Through the development of innovative materials, membranes and membrane processes for carbon capture and decarbonised fuels, the project aims to make possible a substantial reduction in energy penalty, a much lower cost and a reduction of CO2 emissions.

Conference aim: NanoMEMC² final conference will be organised in collaboration with GRAMOFON and ROLINCAP projects, all funded by EC in the framework of Topic LCE-24-2016 “International Cooperation with South Korea on new generation high-efficiency capture processes”. Partners from all the three projects will present their views in carbon capture area and the advances made in the projects. Keynote speakers from European DG RTD and Korean KCRC will present current development in the field of CCUS in both South Korea and Europe too. A poster session will allow for interaction between all stakeholders. The agenda of the event is available here.

Interested in attending the event? Please register for free before the 28th of June 2019 at:

The conference will follow the third EU-South Korea joint workshop on “New generation high-efficiency capture processes”, that will be held on the 2nd of July 2019 and will be open only to NanoMEMC², GRAMOFON and ROLINCAP project partners and their South Korean partners. The EU-South Korea joint workshop will focus on possible twinning activities as well as further collaborations between South Korea and European Countries in the field of CCUS.
